Knowing that you don’t have a blind faith, but a faith that urges you to “prove all things.”
“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-22)
The fact that your faith alone is counted as righteousness.
“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Romans 4:5)
Asking God to increase your faith.
“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou my unbelief.” (Mark 9:23-24)
Longing to hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
Coming home after backsliding.
“And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.” (Luke 15:21-24)
Being a priest.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” (1 Peter 2:9)
Following Christ’s example and using Scripture to battle the devil’s temptation.

When your own life is no longer dear to you.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.” (Mark 8:35)
Realizing that to love is the entirety of God’s commandments.
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
Giving all the glory, honor, and praise to God.
“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory…” (Psalm 115:1a)
